Our History
Our History
Founded by Pastor Clecio Alves and his wife Edna Alves on January 1, 2012, our church was born in a simple environment, but one filled with faith and purpose.
The first service was held in the home of Sister Sonia Alvaración, together with a small group of people who shared the same desire: to worship God and proclaim His Word in the United States.
After a month of meetings in that home, we took the next step and rented a space provided by a local Baptist church. There we began to consolidate the vision that God had placed in our hearts.
We came from Brazil with a deep desire to bring the gospel to the Latino community in the United States: a hard-working people, fighting for their dreams, but also in great need of the love and hope of our Lord Jesus Christ.
From the beginning, we sought to bring together people from different nations in Latin America and the Caribbean, forming one family in Christ, united by faith and the purpose of impacting lives and transforming generations.
Today we continue to grow, with the same commitment to proclaim the gospel and be a beacon of hope for the families God entrusts to us.
“For the gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations.” — Matthew 24:14
